ABA & life skills
Desensitisation programs help teach children to cope with objects or situations that they find fearful or difficult. The situation or skill is broken down into smaller, manageable steps that are worked on one at a time, and increased when your child is able to tolerate the current goal. Our program reduces the fear and anxiety surrounding some of life's less enjoyable tasks.
Teaching children the skills to be independent is essential for their autonomy and quality of life, both in the present and in the future. We can teach skills such as dressing, hygiene, cooking, public transport and community skills. Improving independence provides children with more opportunities to make choices about their day to day lives.
